At a very young age, I started loving homes because my Father was a builder. Working my way up from site clean-up duties to electrical, plumbing, framing, and other trades necessary to build a home. I experienced the excitement of moving into a new home many times as a young man, and those memories urged me toward Real Estate and Building.

I founded and operated an Aviation Safety Engineering Consulting firm for 28 years, ‘retiring’ in 2003. My clients included FAA, NASA, and USAF, among others. I am a pilot with over 5000 hours flying and love flying, but during all those years, my passion for building was always there; now I build homes part-time. My most recent project is our home in La Cresta, California.

In 1990, the passion pushed me to get licensed as both a California Broker and Builder. Due to other business commitments, focusing on those activities had to wait until I retired.  

Now, with the able help of Karen, Sutton Street Properties has been formed to combine her talents, experience, and above all, the passion, for all things Real Estate.

I provide knowledgeable and enthusiastic client counseling, commitment and service through the arduous task of buying or selling a home. An important element of my client support is my attention to detail, which has earned me high praise from loyal clients.

As Director of the Retreat, a Jack Nicklaus private gate guarded community, I gained a great deal of insight into just how special it can be to find just the right home, on just the right site, in just the right neighborhood. My new home sales experience with Toll Brothers gave me even more enthusiasm in the buying and selling process, because Toll Brothers homes are semi-custom, affording the buyer a great deal of flexibility in choosing options, thereby allowing the buyers to truly specify their dream home.

My background in art has given me the tools I need to help clients select all the interior and exterior treatments that will make the statement and exude the feel they desire. My creative marketing ideas and materials are often used to ensure the best possible marketing of your home. It is a very short extension to carry these tools into the staging of homes for sale. After all, if it was important to you how your home looked when you bought it, why not when you sell it?
